My client is a leading national firm who are seeking a Serious Injury Solicitor with 1-6 PQE to join their successful department. The team deal exclusively with serious injury claims sustained abroad, or foreign residents who are injured whilst visiting the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of serious injury and catastrophic injury claims including employers' liability, package holiday, aviation, cruise, RTA, clinical negligence and public liability matters.
  • Attend Court hearings and conferences with experts and/or counsel.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documentation, and prepare cases for court proceedings.
  • Negotiate settlements and liaise with insurers, medical experts, and other third parties.
  • Support clients through the claims process, providing clear advice and empathetic guidance.

About you

  • Qualified solicitor with 1-6 years PQE in serious injury claims (claimant or defendant).
  • Experience in travel litigation/cross border claims is desirable but not essential, as training and supervision will be provided.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • An appetite for business development, with the ability to build successful relationships with a wide range of professionals.
