Excellent opportunity for a Senior Court of Protection Solicitor to join a highly regarded Birmingham firm. Their Court of Protection team are recognised nationally and are well known for the excellent quality of their work. You will work on a full spectrum of Court of Protection matters alongside a highly ranked Partner, dealing with property and finances for a wide variety of clients. The role offers real autonomy, exposure to excellent quality instructions, and the chance to play a key part in the team's continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage property & financial affairs deputyship applications
- Supporting on complex health & welfare matters
- Act for professional deputies in day-to-day financial management (e.g. property sales, budgeting, liaising with banks and benefits agencies)
- Assist with statutory will applications, small gifts, and investigations into financial abuse
- Maintain regular contact with clients, families, social workers, and the Office of the Public Guardian
- Supervising junior Paralegals and supporting their development
