An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Banking Solicitor / Associate / Senior Associate with 2‑6 years+ PQE to join this national firm in Birmingham. The team works with a variety of lenders, corporates and sponsors on a range of financing transactions including leverage finance, real estate finance, project finance and asset‑based lending. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Advising on a range of issues across the breadth of banking and finance issues
- Developing and maintaining knowledge on issues within banking and finance, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge
- Developing opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities
- Client relationship management
About you
- Qualified Solicitor with 2‑6 years+ of post‑qualification experience
- Strong academic background and excellent technical skills
- Solid grounding in banking and finance including some experience in leverage finance and real‑estate finance
- Work collaboratively with colleagues
- Successfully manage client relationships
- Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
- Team player with strong relationship building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards professional development
