A Legal 500 Tier One ranked Personal Injury team is seeking an experienced Senior Associate (6+ PQE) to join its well established and growing practice in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high value, complex matters within a supportive, specialist team known for exceptional client care and technical excellence. The role is particularly suited to someone with specialist experience in fatal road traffic accident claims.

The Role

  • Managing a complex and sensitive caseload, including:
    • Fatal road traffic accident claims
    • Claims involving vulnerable clients
    • Cycling related injury claims
    • Injuries caused by animals
    • High value and technically challenging personal injury matters
  • Liaising with experts, counsel, referrers and key stakeholders
  • Supporting the wider team and contributing to the department's business plan
  • Taking on selected line management responsibilities
  • Playing a key role in the continued growth and development of the team

Candidate Requirements

  • 6+ years PQE in personal injury
  • Substantial experience in fatal RTA claims
  • Strong client management skills and a commitment to exceptional service
  • Proven ability to generate new business through successful BD activity
  • Excellent technical knowledge and sector awareness
  • Ability to supervise, mentor and support junior colleagues (desirable)
  • A solid business plan or growth proposition (desirable)
  • A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
