Solicitor – Quality & Risk – Bath – 3+ Years PQE

Location: Bath

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week, hybrid flexibility)

Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience)

A respected law firm is seeking a Quality & Risk Solicitor (or other regulated professional) with 3+ years\’ post-qualification experience (or equivalent) to join its busy and well-established Quality & Risk team. Role

You’ll be responsible for providing first‑tier advice and support across the firm on professional conduct and compliance matters, including:

• Advising on regulatory compliance, risk management, AML legislation, and conflicts management
• Working closely with the Quality & Risk team, COLP and COFA to analyse complaints, claims, and breaches, assisting with remedial action
• Supervising and advising on escalations from the centralised Onboarding team
• Drafting and maintaining guidance, policies, processes, and precedents
• Supporting internal training on best practice, legislation changes, and regulatory compliance
• Liaising with regulators alongside colleagues
• Keeping up to date with professional, legal, and best practice developments

Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor or equivalent professional with:

• 3+ years PQE (or equivalent experience) in a similar compliance/risk role
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory regimes, including:

• The SRA Handbook
• Anti‑Money Laundering legislation
• Bribery and Data Protection legislation
