An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a well-established, multi‑office regional law firm with a strong reputation across the South West. The Residential Property team is highly regarded and supported by dedicated Conveyancing Assistants, allowing fee earners to focus on delivering a first‑class client experience. Key Responsibilities
- Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Advising on Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- Other residential property matters
- Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
- Supporting networking and business development activities
- Sharing technical knowledge and contributing to team success
Candidate Requirements
- We are keen to hear from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or Chartered Legal Executives with a minimum of 6 years’ PQE/equivalent experience in residential property.
- Be confident managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Possess strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential conveyancing
- Have excellent client care and communication skills
- Demonstrate proven business development and networking abilities
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and professional contacts
- Be proactive, adaptable and committed to delivering high standards
- Ideally have experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
