We're working with a well-established private practice in Somerset that is looking to bring in an experienced family solicitor or legal executive on a temporary basis. The firm would like someone who can work on a hybrid basis of perhaps 1-3 days a week in the office.
The work itself is varied and interesting, covering a broad spread of family law matters including childcare, divorce, financial remedy work and general private family matters. The firm is a traditional, family-friendly practice with a strong local reputation and a long-standing client base. They place real value on face-to-face contact and take pride in offering a personal, "doorstep" style service. The client base includes a mix of private individuals, including some high-net-worth agricultural clients.
You'll need to be a qualified solicitor or legal executive with at least 4 years PQE or equivalent. Legal executives must have litigation rights. The firm is looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
The start date is anticipated to be late February or early March and the initial requirement is expected to be around three months, while a permanent hire is made. The hourly rate will be competitive and realistic, depending on experience.
This role would suit someone looking for an interim opportunity, flexibility around working location, or the chance to work with a respected regional firm while they go through a period of change and growth.
