Salary: Β£95,000 to Β£130,000 (DOE)
A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Partner to join its Employment team in Bath. This senior strategic appointment focuses on expanding the firm's employment offering across Bristol and the wider Southwest, strengthening market presence, deepening key client relationships and driving sustained revenue growth.
This role is ideal for a Partner with an established client following and a clear business plan for growth within the Bath employment market.
The Role
- Delivering high quality, profitable work on your own matters
- Building and strengthening relationships with clients and referrers
- Agreeing clear service scopes, pricing structures and charging models
- Demonstrating strong market and sector knowledge to deliver robust legal advice
- Contributing to and implementing departmental business plans
- Leading successful BD initiatives and generating new business
- Expanding your network of clients, intermediaries and referrers
- Developing an internal network to increase cross referrals across the firm
- Supervising, coaching and delegating work to junior team members
- Understanding departmental KPIs and contributing to overall performance
- Keeping abreast of legal and sector developments and feeding into strategy
- Driving elements of the department's strategic plan, including service lines and product development
Candidate Requirements
- 7+ years' PQE
- A solid business plan and demonstrable growth proposition for the Bath market
- Strong client management skills and commitment to excellent service
- Proven ability to win new business through successful BD activity
- Experience managing a small team
- Tribunal litigation experience (desirable)
- A collaborative, commercial and strategic mindset
