Exciting opportunity for a Property Litigation Associate / Senior Associate to join this leading firm with a number of offices in the East of England. Ideally you will have at least 6 years experience in property litigation law and be looking for your next challenge.
Responsibilities
- Handle a diverse caseload of property litigation matters including landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals, dilapidations and possession claims
- Represent clients in court proceedings and mediations
- Provide high-quality legal advice and solutions to clients including property developers, investors and commercial landlords
- Keep abreast of changes in property litigation law and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor with 6+ years of PQE in property litigation
- Strong background in handling a broad range of property litigation matters.
- Proven experience in managing a caseload independently and providing strategic advice to clients
- Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and build strong client relationships
Day-to-day matters
- Reviewing and advising on property litigation documentation
- Attending court hearings and negotiations on behalf of clients
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal opinions
- Liaising with clients and third parties
