A well established and fast growing Devon based law firm is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer (4+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Private Family team in North Devon. This is an excellent opportunity to take on high quality private family work within a dynamic, ambitious and Legal 500 recognised department.

The Role

  • Manage a varied caseload of private family matters, including:
    • Matrimonial finance cases, including high value and multi asset matters
    • Divorce and separation
    • Cohabitation and relationship breakdown
    • Private children law
    • Pre and post nuptial agreements
    • Advising clients with clarity, sensitivity and commercial awareness
    • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
    • Contributing to the growth and profile of the department
    • Supervising junior fee earners and supporting team development

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or legal executive with 4+ years' PQE in family law
  • Strong technical expertise in financial remedy and private children matters
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • A proactive, organised and collaborative approach
  • Confidence managing complex matters independently
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Interest in marketing, networking and contributing to departmental growth
