A highly respected and internationally recognised Private Client team is seeking an Associate with 2+ years' PQE to advise a broad range of UK clients on succession and tax planning. The Role

  • Managing a varied and sophisticated caseload of UK private client matters, including:
  • Providing clear, practical and commercial legal advice on succession and tax planning
  • Managing a substantial and varied workload efficiently and cost effectively with appropriate supervision
  • Drafting complex documents with minimal instruction, using appropriate precedents
  • Conducting research and applying a commercial approach to the delivery of advice
  • Delegating, coordinating and supervising work of junior team members where appropriate
  • Participating in client marketing activities, including seminars, presentations and pitches
  • Identifying new client opportunities and taking steps to develop them
  • Contributing to team knowledge, know how and internal training
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations, including SRA Standards and Regulations
