A respected law firm is seeking an experienced Family and Divorce Associate Solicitor with 4+ years' post-qualification experience to join its growing Family and Divorce Team in Wiltshire. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing a newly expanding department, working on complex and high-value family law matters in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
- Complex divorce and separation cases, including those involving international elements, business assets, and trusts
- Matrimonial finance, child arrangements, and prenuptial agreements
- Assisting the Team Lead in developing strategies to enhance services and client satisfaction
- Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and support staff
- Liaising with other departments to provide a comprehensive client service
- Participating in business development activities, including networking, seminars, and workshops
- Promoting the team's services and ethos through marketing and professional networks
- Staying updated with the latest developments in family law
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years PQE in family law
- Proven track record in handling complex financial remedy and high-net-worth clients
- Strong leadership skills and ideally some experience managing others
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with sensitivity in handling delicate matters
- Commitment to high ethical standards and professionalism
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
