A top-tier national law firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor with 3+ years' post-qualification experience to join its highly regarded Employment team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of the UK's largest and most respected employment practices, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters across the UK and internationally.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for advising a diverse client base on a wide range of employment law issues, including:
- HR support and employee relations
- Employment litigation and tribunal representation
- TUPE and transactional employment advice
- Restructuring and redundancy programmes
- Restrictive covenants and reputational risk management
- Trade union and industrial relations matters
- Data privacy and cross-border employment projects
- Working closely with colleagues in incentives, immigration, pensions, and health & safety
Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 3+ years PQE in employment law (more or less experience considered)
- Strong academic background and technical expertise
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and client-facing skills
- Commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to advice
- Interest in international employment law and cross-border projects
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, supportive team
