A leading national law firm is seeking an Associate (Knowledge) with 2+ years' PQE to join its Real Estate Knowledge team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate lawyer with strong technical skills who enjoys training, research, drafting and supporting fee earners across a major practice group. The role offers full flexibility, including hybrid and part time options.
Responsibilities
- Supporting delivery of the 2030 Knowledge Plan
- Creating and maintaining precedents where external sources do not provide them
- Collating and managing precedents from subscription providers
- Designing and delivering internal training for trainees, junior lawyers and wider teams
- Supporting knowledge sharing sessions and capturing lessons learned
- Contributing to training for new joiners
- Assisting in the creation of client-facing training
- Monitoring legal developments with the Research team and updating internal guidance
- Ensuring team resources are accessible and well organised
- Identifying opportunities for efficiencies through process improvement or technology
- Drafting internal legal insights and external articles
- Supporting responses to tenders and specific legal queries
- Collaborating with Knowledge Lawyers across other practice groups
Candidate Requirements
- 2+ years' PQE in Real Estate
- Strong technical knowledge of Real Estate law
- Excellent drafting and research skills
- Ability to analyse and communicate complex information clearly
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively
- A proactive, client-focused mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
