The RoleYou will handle a varied and complex caseload of contentious construction and energy related disputes, including: Court litigation, adjudication, arbitration, mediation, and other forms of ADRDisputes involving payment issues, delays, defects, and professional negligenceAdvising on contract management and dispute avoidance strategiesWorking across a wide range of construction projects, including: Commercial developmentUtilities and renewable energyResidential schemesOperation, maintenance, and service contractsFacilities managementCollaborating with colleagues across Construction, Real Estate, Corporate, Commercial, and Planning teamsWorking directly with clients from the outset and managing day to day conduct of disputesReceiving ongoing training and support from a specialist Senior Knowledge LawyerTaking responsibility for high value, high quality work with significant client impactCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a construction disputes specialist with:3+ years' PQE in contentious constructionStrong experience in adjudication and court litigation processesExcellent communication, technical, and organisational skillsAbility to provide clear, commercial, and pragmatic advice under pressureExperience with JCT and NEC contracts (ideal)Exposure to a range of construction disputes, including adjudications, arbitrations, and expert determinationsStrong attention to detail and ability to handle complex mattersProven ability to build strong client relationshipsGenuine interest in the construction and infrastructure sectorAmbition, self motivation, and enthusiasm for professional developmentA collaborative, team focused approachBenefitsThe firm offers: Competitive salary and benefits packageHigh quality, complex work for prestigious clientsStrong career development and progression opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team environmentAccess to specialist training and knowledge resourcesOpportunities to build your professional network and profileHow to ApplyIf this opportunity sounds of interest or you'd like a confidential conversation about your next career move, please contact: Olivia ReedEmail: : /
