- 68,000 (depending on experience)A leading national law firm is seeking an Associate to join its expanding Agriculture, Rural & Estates team in Exeter.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly respected group of rural property specialists, advising landowners, estates, farmers, and agricultural businesses on a wide range of high quality matters.

You'll work alongside Legal 500 and Chambers recognised lawyers and develop your expertise across the full spectrum of rural and estates work.The RoleYou'll be responsible for advising clients on a broad range of rural and agricultural matters, including:Agricultural tenancies (AHA and FBT)Rural land sales and acquisitionsEstate management and diversification projectsRenewable energy schemes and environmental stewardshipDisposals of rural land for developmentSupporting senior lawyers on complex transactions and research tasksDelivering clear, concise and commercially focused adviceBuilding strong client relationships and providing exceptional serviceYou will also contribute to the team's growth by:Attending agricultural shows, networking events and sector forumsSupporting business development initiatives within the rural sectorHelping to raise the profile of the team and firmCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a solicitor with:Strong experience or a genuine interest in rural property, agriculture, and estates workExcellent drafting skills and the ability to deliver clear, commercial adviceStrong communication and negotiation skillsA proactive approach to business development and relationship buildingHigh levels of initiative, organisation and attention to detailA collaborative mindset and commitment to achieving team targetsBenefitsThe firm offers:Flexible and hybrid working arrangementsPrivate medical insurancePension schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeEnhanced parental leaveA range of wellbeing initiativesSupportive, inclusive culture with clear progression opportunitiesThe firm welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and is committed to diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities.
