You'll be joining a market‑leading construction practice with a reputation for combining deep sector knowledge with genuinely practical, commercially focused advice. Many of the lawyers have hands‑on industry backgrounds and regularly work on site, giving the team a unique edge in delivering solutions that work in the real world. The team is at the forefront of major industry trends, including:
- Transformation of UK building safety laws

You’ll work alongside recognised experts who advise on landmark schemes, funder side construction risk, institutional investment mandates and sophisticated contract suites.
The Role
This is a role with real variety, responsibility and visibility. You will:
- Negotiate and draft construction contracts (including JCT amendments)
- Prepare and negotiate professional appointments and warranties
- Deliver construction due diligence on major real estate transactions
- Support the negotiation of development agreements
- Guide clients through evolving legislation, including the building safety regime
- Help clients manage risk while achieving commercial, regulatory and sustainability goals
You’ll work with a diverse client base – developers, funders, asset managers, contractors and end users – and play a key role throughout the full lifecycle of development and regeneration projects.
Candidate Requirements
This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded and ready to take the next step. You will bring:
- 1‑2 years’ PQE in non‑contentious construction
