Senior Associate / Legal Director - Real Estate Development - 7+ Years PQE

Salary: £80,000 to £120,000 (depending on experience)
A leading national commercial law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Legal Director (7+ PQE) to join its expanding Commercial Property team. The department has experienced significant growth, supported by major tender wins and high profile regeneration and development projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior role within a market leading practice and work on projects of regional and national significance.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for advising on and leading a broad range of commercial property and development matters, including:
- Large scale regeneration and development projects
- Commercial and residential development work
- General commercial property matters
- Advising national and regional public and private sector organisations
- Leading high value development projects
- Working closely with senior colleagues to further develop specialist regeneration expertise
- Supporting a collaborative and ambitious team culture
- Maintaining high professional standards and compliance
Clients include major public bodies and private sector organisations such as:
- Greater London Authority
- City of London
- Peabody Trust
- Places for People
- London Boroughs and local authorities across the UK
This role offers significant client exposure, opportunities to grow your network, and the chance to develop strong business development skills. Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:
- 7+ years PQE in commercial and/or residential development work
- Strong drafting skills and legal analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confidence working directly with clients
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- A practical and commercial approach
- Motivation, organisation and a proactive mindset
- Interest in business development
