An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate Finance Lawyer to join one of the UK's leading Top 100 law firms, renowned for its high-quality work, collaborative culture and consistently strong rankings in both the Legal 500 and Chambers UK. The firm is widely regarded as one of Bristol's premier legal practices and advises many of the UK's leading lenders, investors, developers and corporate borrowers.
Working as part of a highly respected Banking & Finance team, you'll advise on complex and high-value real estate finance transactions across a broad range of sectors and asset classes. This is a role for a lawyer who enjoys sophisticated transactional work, direct client exposure and the opportunity to play a visible role in a growing and ambitious practice.
Key areas of work will include:
- Investment and development finance transactions
- Acquisition and refinancing matters
- Portfolio and multi-asset financings
- Real estate-backed lending structures
- Acting for lenders, borrowers, investors and developers
- Cross-border and complex financing arrangements
- Supporting major deals from inception through to completion
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from ambitious lawyers with significant experience in Real Estate Finance gained within a recognised commercial law firm. You will ideally possess:
- Strong experience advising on real estate finance transactions ideally with around 6 +years' PQE
- Experience acting for lenders, borrowers, or both
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
- The ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy
- Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers
- A collaborative and proactive approach to working with colleagues and clients
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales or Scotland
