A long established, well regarded high street law firm with a strong local reputation is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy property team in Highcliffe, Dorset. This is a key hire within a supportive, close knit team where you'll handle a varied caseload and play an important role in the continued growth of the department.
The Role
- You will manage your own files from instruction through to completion, covering a broad range of residential property work, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases (registered and unregistered)
- New builds
- Plot sales
- Transfers of equity
- Remortgages and property finance
- Easements
- Exposure to option agreements and conditional contracts is beneficial
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Contribute to business development and help strengthen client relationships
This is a hands on, client facing role with the opportunity to take real ownership of your work.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
- Ideally 4+ years' PQE (or equivalent experience) within residential property
- Confident managing files independently, with supervision available where needed
- Strong technical knowledge across freehold and leasehold transactions
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, organised approach
- High attention to detail and the ability to build strong client rapport
