A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Finance Associate to join a leading international law firm in central Bristol. Consistently ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers, the firm advises major banks, alternative lenders, investment funds, developers, sponsors and corporate borrowers on some of the market's most significant and complex transactions. Joining a high-performing and collaborative team, you'll work on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, advising both lenders and borrowers across a variety of asset classes. Typical matters are likely to include:
- Investment and development finance transactions
- Acquisition and refinancing deals
- Real estate-backed lending structures
- Portfolio financings
- Loan restructurings and amendments
- Cross-border financing transactions
- Complex secured lending arrangements
You'll work closely with colleagues across Real Estate, Corporate, Construction, Tax and Financial Markets teams, gaining exposure to high-profile clients and sophisticated work from day one. This is an ideal opportunity for a lawyer looking to deepen their specialism within a market-leading practice while enjoying direct client contact and genuine career progression opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
We are keen to hear from lawyers who have experience in real estate finance or broader banking and finance work and are looking to further specialise within a highly regarded team. The successful candidate is likely to have:
- Experience gained within a recognised commercial or international law firm
- Exposure to real estate finance transactions, acting for lenders, borrowers or both
- Strong drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills
- The ability to manage workstreams independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
