A respected national law firm with long standing partnerships across the insurance, financial services and membership organisation sectors is seeking a litigation specialist to join the Contract Resolution team within its Civil Litigation division. This position offers exposure to a diverse caseload of non injury civil disputes, including:
- Commercial and consumer contract matters
- Misrepresentation claims
- Professional negligence
- Construction related disputes
- A mix of Claimant and Defendant work, including complex and higher value cases
You’ll act for clients referred through Legal Expenses Insurance as well as privately instructed individuals and businesses. The team is friendly, well structured and led by experienced partners who are committed to mentoring and developing their lawyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling a varied caseload of fast, intermediate and multi track contract disputes
- Progressing matters efficiently using the firm's case management system
- Delivering strong client service and meeting deadlines

Candidate Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Background in advising individuals and commercial clients on contract based disputes
- Confident in running your own caseload
- Strong organisational abilities and a practical, solution driven approach
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Comfortable using case management systems
- Solid IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Experience working with insurance funded clients
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (LLB/CILEX route), or FCILEx, or Equivalent experience
