A leading national firm is seeking a Construction Associate or Senior Associate (4+ PQE) to join its top tier Construction & Engineering team, advising on major development, infrastructure and built environment projects across the UK. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high profile, complex matters within a collaborative, supportive and market leading team.
The Role
- You’ll work on a wide range of transactional construction matters within the built environment sector, including:
- Advising on major development, redevelopment and infrastructure projects
- Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, appointments, warranties and security documents
- Working closely with real estate, planning, banking and corporate teams on large scale projects
- Supporting developers, funders, investors and occupiers on complex construction arrangements
- Advising on UK and international projects across commercial, residential and mixed use schemes
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Supporting senior lawyers on high value and strategic matters
Candidate Requirements
- 4+ years' PQE in transactional construction
- Strong experience advising on built environment and real estate related construction matters
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and technical skills
- The ability to manage a varied and complex workload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative, proactive and commercially minded approach
- Qualification as an SRA registered solicitor
