An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Planning & Environmental team during a period of continued growth. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of complex planning matters, with a particular focus on major infrastructure projects, strategic development schemes and nationally significant projects across the UK.

  • Advise developers, infrastructure providers, landowners and investors on a wide range of planning matters, including Development Consent Orders, infrastructure consenting regimes, planning applications, appeals and development delivery strategies.
  • Negotiate and draft planning and infrastructure agreements, including Section 106 and highways agreements, while providing commercially focused advice that supports successful project outcomes.
  • Deliver planning support on property, corporate, energy and infrastructure transactions, undertaking due diligence, identifying risks and helping clients navigate complex regulatory issues.
  • Build strong client relationships, contribute to business development initiatives, and work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple disciplines to provide a seamless service.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with experience in planning law, strong technical and drafting skills, commercial awareness, and the confidence to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience within the infrastructure, energy, transport, utilities or regeneration sectors would be particularly advantageous.
