Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload in Education and SEN matters, including tribunal appeals, judicial reviews, exclusions, admissions and disability discrimination.
  • Work directly with vulnerable clients to secure access to education and deliver real-life impact.
  • Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to the development of the team.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and support the growth of the national Public Law and Human Rights practice.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to uphold high professional standards and service quality.
Qualifications and experience
  • Qualified Solicitor with Education (SEN) and public law experience.
  • Strong background in education law, SEN Tribunal work, tribunal appeals, exclusions, admissions and related discrimination matters.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, client advocacy and team collaboration skills.
