A leading regional law firm is looking to appoint a Property Litigation Lawyer to join its highly regarded Real Estate team. Recognised by the leading legal directories, the team acts for a broad range of clients including developers, investors, PLCs, owner‑managed businesses and private individuals. This is an opportunity to join a well‑established property disputes practice handling a varied caseload across commercial and residential real estate matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial landlord and tenant disputes
- Lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
- Dilapidations, rent reviews, break notices, forfeiture and possession claims
- Development and contractual disputes
- Easements, restrictive covenants and boundary issues
- Land ownership, adverse possession and co‑ownership disputes
- Property‑related insolvency matters
- High Court, County Court and Tribunal proceedings
- Mediation and other forms of dispute resolution

Required Skills and Experience
Candidates should have strong academics and quality property litigation experience gained within a respected City, national or regional practice. Experience of commercial landlord and tenant work is particularly desirable, alongside a good understanding of court and tribunal procedures. The successful individual will demonstrate excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, a commitment to client service and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
