The Role

You'll act as the lead adviser for state funded schools within a highly regarded Regulatory, Risk & Resolution team. The work is varied, complex and sector‐shaping, covering public law issues across the education landscape. Expect to work closely with MATs, SATs and state schools on matters such as:

  • Registration and inspection
  • Admissions and appeals
  • Complaints, governance and decision‐making
  • SEND and discrimination
  • Pupil discipline and safeguarding
  • Critical incident management
  • Investigations
  • Civil claims and judicial review

This is a visible leadership role with the scope to influence strategy, grow the practice and work alongside nationally recognised specialists.

Candidate Requirements
