A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join a top‑50 national firm with a leading reputation in this specialist area. Based in Cardiff, you’ll be part of a large, supportive team handling high‑quality, varied and often complex estate‑related disputes.

The Role

You’ll manage your own caseload with strong supervision and support, working on matters including will, trust and estate disputes, Inheritance Act claims, challenges to validity, breach of trust issues and applications to remove executors or trustees. You’ll also contribute to business development and knowledge sharing as the team continues to grow.

About You

  • 0–4 years’ PQE (including experience gained during training) in contentious probate
  • Strong drafting and technical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commercially aware, organised and proactive
  • A collaborative team player with excellent attention to detail
