About the Company

I have an exciting new instruction from a market leading technology company based in Worcestershire. The company is very successful and going through an exciting period of expansion. This has led to a need to grow their legal team.

About the Role

They are seeking to hire a qualified Lawyer to work closely with their General Counsel on the full range of legal issues that arise in an in-house role in a fast paced SaaS business. They are looking for candidates with a strong background in Commercial Contracts, adept at juggling competing high priority legal issues with a high degree of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Providing legal advice and guidance to the senior leadership team and other company departments across a wide range of topics.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Assistance with company secretarial matters.
  • Participating in mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
  • Developing and implementing legal strategies to protect the company's interests.

Qualifications

  • Qualified in the UK as a solicitor or barrister, with a high standard of education.

Required Skills

  • Strong background in reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience of SaaS contracts advantageous, though not essential.

Pay range and compensation package

They are looking to pay around £65k + bonus and benefits. They work on a hybrid basis and this person will be expected to be in the office at least 2 days per week. They have excellent transport links and parking available.
