A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Assistant to join a growing compliance team in Cheltenham on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This is a newly created role offering excellent scope to develop, working closely with the Compliance Manager to support a range of regulatory and risk functions across the business.

The position would suit someone from a legal or financial services background with an interest in compliance and risk. The role is varied and will include:

  • Assisting with maintaining and updating policies and procedures
  • Conducting client due diligence and risk assessments
  • Supporting internal audits and file reviews
  • Coordinating compliance training
  • Helping manage complaints, claims and data breach registers

You will play an important role in promoting a strong culture of compliance and accountability, working with sensitive information and supporting the wider team in maintaining high standards.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and dependable, with strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. This is a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages development and values proactive, team-focused individuals.

The role is primarily office-based in Cheltenham.
