The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Lawyer to join an established and supportive team. This role will involve managing a varied caseload of traditional private client matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of private client matters independently
- Drafting Wills, including more complex estate planning arrangements
- Advising on Probate and the Administration of Estates
- Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and Attorneyships
- Trust creation and administration
- Providing advice on inheritance tax and estate planning matters
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial advisors, and HMRC
- Delivering a sensitive and supportive service, particularly during difficult life events
- Supporting the continued development of the private client department
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx)
- Ideally 5+ years’ PQE in Private Client work (all levels considered)
- Solid experience in wills, probate, trusts, and estate administration
- Strong communication skills with a personable and empathetic approach
- Ability to manage caseload independently while working as part of a team
- Commitment to delivering high standards of client care
