Are you a Newly Qualified Lawyer looking to specialise in Contentious Probate? We have a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and highly respected team at a Legal 500 firm based in central Bristol where you will be working across inheritance and will disputes, estate administration challenges, and trust-related litigation.
The Role
- Building your own caseload across a broad spectrum of contentious probate matters.
- Handling inheritance disputes, opposed and unopposed applications, and complex estate challenges.
- Advising on trusts, validity of wills, undue influence, fraud, and property disputes.
- Working alongside different departments to offer strategic, cross-team legal support.
- Contributing to the teamβs national reputation for excellence, recognised by The Legal 500.
- Taking responsibility for legal drafting, negotiations, and settlement agreements.
- Engaging in advocacy where required, ensuring strong representation for clients.
Requirements
- Qualified Lawyer or FCILEx (0-4 years PQE) with experience in litigation and/or private client work.
- Eager and passionate about specialising in contentious probate, with strong technical ability and attention to detail.
- Strong IT and communication skills.
- ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists) membership is a bonus, but training can be provided.
