A leading Top 100 UK law firm is seeking an ambitious Solicitor to join their highly regarded Dispute Resolution team. Consistently recognised as a Tier 1 practice by both Chambers and Legal 500, the team is known for its exceptional litigation expertise and its strong reputation across Wales and beyond.

The Housing Management team is a national leader in its field, advising a wide range of registered social landlords and local authorities on complex and sensitive housing disputes. This is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist expertise within a supportive, forward‑thinking environment.

The Role

You will work closely with a well‑established client base, providing expert advice on a broad range of housing management matters. The team’s work spans all aspects of tenancy enforcement, including nuisance behaviour, criminal activity, anti‑social behaviour, disrepair claims, homelessness issues, and the evolving requirements of the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting court documents
  • Attending and conducting your own advocacy at hearings
  • Negotiating with opposing parties
  • Advising clients directly
  • Supervising Paralegals within the team

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with NQ–4 years’ PQE
  • Strong advocacy or litigation experience, with the confidence to handle your own hearings
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Any litigation background will be considered, and the role may particularly appeal to those from criminal or personal injury backgrounds seeking a new direction
  • A genuine interest in developing specialist expertise in a niche and growing area of law
