A leading regional law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate or Senior Associate to join its Bristol office. This is a fantastic opportunity for lawyers with 2+ years’ PQE who want to develop their career within a genuinely supportive, friendly, and non-micromanaged team. You’ll enjoy a varied mix of high-quality commercial real estate work, all within a culture that values autonomy, trust, and collaboration.
The Role
- Managing your own caseload of real estate transactions
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters, commercial leases, acquisitions, disposals, and investment work
- Supporting regeneration and development projects, including residential-led schemes
- Drafting and negotiating legal documentation with increasing independence
- Building strong client relationships and managing expectations around risk, timescales, and outcomes
- Delivering commercially focused, pragmatic advice
- Contributing to a strong risk-aware culture
- Developing internal and external networks with clients, intermediaries, and sector contacts
- Supporting business development through networking, publications, and speaking opportunities
- Assisting with team and sector pitches
- Providing guidance to junior colleagues (particularly at Senior Associate level)
- Ensuring clear communication across the team

Candidate Requirements
- You will be a solicitor with:
- Qualification in England & Wales
- 2+ years PQE in commercial real estate (more experienced candidates welcomed for Senior Associate level)
- Experience or interest in regeneration and development work
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in title due diligence
- A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach
- Desirable: Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers
