This is an opportunity to join the planning team of a leading global law firm with offices around the world. They are seeking to hire an experienced Planning Lawyer to join their market leading team on a 6 month contract.
This team works on the most innovative and complex development projects including energy and urban regeneration. The planning team deals with all aspects of planning law including negotiations and appeals for planning and associated consents, the drafting and negotiation of planning and related agreements and the environmental implications of development proposals.
The successful candidate will deal with a broad range of planning matters, including:
- Negotiating s106 agreements for large, multi-use developments
- Various infrastructure agreements
- Advising on topics such as community infrastructure levy and heritage constraints
- Giving strategic advice on a variety of types of scheme, including infrastructure projects
The work can be done on a hybrid or mainly remote basis. They are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 PQE or equivalent experience as well as strong technical skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
