A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Associate to join a leading Top 100 law firm and work in their personal injury department. Their specialist personal injury department represents clients who have suffered serious injury outside of the UK while on holiday, working abroad or in the course of international travel. Typically, clients are injured while on package holidays, in foreign road traffic accidents on cruise liners or on airplanes.
The Role
- Direct client contact, including attending clients' homes, dealing with telephone enquiries and updating clients as to the progress of their claims
- Taking instructions and drafting witness statements and schedules of loss
- Instructing medical experts to prepare Part 35 compliant reports
- Obtaining and reviewing medical records and preparing evidence bundles
- Instructing counsel and attending conferences
- Drafting court orders and documents
About you
You will be a qualified solicitor with experience in personal injury litigation and a working knowledge of CPR with excellent organisational and communication skills. There is opportunity for personal development within the team and career progression.
