We are recruiting on behalf of a modern, fast‑growing Welsh law firm for a self‑motivated Licensed Conveyancer to join their Residential Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward‑thinking practice known for delivering high‑quality, client‑focused services.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Maintain caseload capacity and work towards monthly performance targets.
- Ensure full compliance with SRA or CLC regulatory requirements and Land Registry rules.
- Deliver a high standard of client care throughout the conveyancing process.
- Work effectively within a Case Management System.
- Carry out thorough due diligence, including title reviews, searches, and document checks.
- Draft contracts, deeds, and other property‑related legal documents.
- Supervise and support a small team of legal assistants.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Provide clear, expert advice on property law, contracts, and client rights and obligations.
- Stay up to date with changes in property law and ensure best practice is followed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions.
About you
- Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
- Confident decision‑maker within your area of responsibility.
- Solid understanding of CLC and SRA regulatory frameworks and Land Registry requirements.
- Experience handling freehold, leasehold, unregistered, new build, shared ownership, and remortgage matters.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
