An award-winning Legal 500 firm is seeking a highly organised and proactive Company Secretarial Paralegal to join their Corporate & Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role supporting both standalone company secretarial matters and a wide range of corporate transactions.

You will work closely with fee earners, managing governance and compliance tasks, preparing statutory and transactional documentation, and ensuring the smooth running of company secretarial processes. This role offers genuine responsibility, autonomy, and the chance to build strong client relationships within a supportive and dynamic team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage company secretarial correspondence and maintain timely communication with clients
  • Conduct company searches, including status checks and completion related enquiries
  • Provide search results and relevant information to solicitors and clients
  • Maintain and update statutory registers with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist with incorporations and Companies House filings
  • Draft and review board minutes and company secretarial documentation
  • Prepare and organise due diligence materials for data rooms
  • Ensure transaction documents are clearly indexed and accessible
  • Support transactions by coordinating electronic signatures (e.g., DocuSign)
  • Assist with preparing company secretarial packs for completions
  • Support property management companies with handovers and documentation
  • Provide company secretarial support for property related matters
  • Maintain organised filing systems for efficient document retrieval
  • Liaise with clients to collect documentation and provide updates
  • Build strong client relationships through clear, confident communication
  • Work collaboratively with solicitors to complete governance and transactional tasks
