An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded employment team in London on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This role would suit an Employment Solicitor with between 2 and 4 years' PQE who is available to start in the coming weeks, allowing for a comprehensive handover period before the commencement of maternity leave.
The successful candidate will handle a broad range of employment matters, with a particular focus on corporate support and employment-related legal due diligence work. You will work closely with partners and colleagues on a variety of transactional and advisory matters, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice to clients. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team comprising 7 individuals. You will benefit from working on high-quality matters within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Candidates should have strong employment law experience gained within a recognised employment practice, together with experience providing employment support on corporate transactions and carrying out legal due diligence exercises. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with attendance in the London office required 2-3 days per week. This position is initially offered as a 12-month fixed term contract, although there may be the potential for a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate.
