Insolvency Partner

National Law Firm | Birmingham

I am currently working with a leading national law firm that is investing heavily in the growth of its Insolvency & Recoveries practice and is keen to speak with both established Partners and ambitious senior lawyers ready to make the step into Partnership.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established national platform with access to high-quality work, strong internal referral networks and significant support for practice growth.

The Opportunity

The team advises on both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters, acting for a broad client base that includes insolvency practitioners, lenders, corporates, directors and other stakeholders involved in distressed situations.

  • Corporate and personal insolvency matters.
  • Business recovery, restructuring and turnaround situations.
  • Insolvency litigation and related disputes.
  • Director disqualification proceedings.
  • Debt recovery and enforcement strategies.
  • Winding-up petitions and bankruptcy matters.
  • Secured lending enforcement and security-related issues.
  • Retention of title disputes and financial security arrangements.
  • CVAs, pre-pack administrations and restructuring solutions.
  • HMRC-related insolvency disputes and partnership insolvency matters.

The practice works closely with specialists across litigation, banking, corporate, real estate and regulatory teams, providing clients with fully integrated advice on complex situations.

Candidate Profile

The firm is interested in speaking with:

  • Existing Partners seeking a stronger platform for growth.
  • Senior Associates, Legal Directors or equivalent lawyers with a credible pathway to Partnership.
  • Lawyers with strong technical expertise across insolvency, restructuring and recoveries work.
  • Individuals with commercial awareness and a proven ability to develop client relationships.
  • Practitioners looking to play a key role in the future growth of a national practice.

Whilst a client following would be advantageous, the firm is equally interested in ambitious lawyers who have the experience, profile and potential to build and grow a successful practice.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Clear and well-supported route to Partnership.
  • Access to a substantial national client base and referral network.
  • High-quality and complex insolvency and restructuring work.
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial culture.
  • Flexible and agile working arrangements.
  • Genuine investment in team growth, innovation and market expansion.
