I am currently working with a leading national law firm that is looking to strengthen its Birmingham team with the appointment of a Legal Director.

The Opportunity
Joining an established and growing team, you will play a key role in advising a broad client base on complex and strategically important matters while helping to develop client relationships and support the growth of the practice.
- Managing a varied caseload of high-value and complex matters.
- Providing commercially focused legal advice to a diverse client base.
- Leading transactions, disputes or advisory projects, depending on your area of expertise.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.
- Collaborating with colleagues across multiple offices and practice areas.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Supporting the continued development and success of the wider practice.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified solicitor with significant post-qualification experience.
- Technically strong with a proven track record in their practice area.
- Commercially minded and able to deliver pragmatic, client-focused advice.
- Confident managing client relationships and leading matters independently.
- Experienced in supervising junior team members and supporting their development.
- Enthusiastic about business development and profile raising.
- A collaborative and proactive team player.
