An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated and passionate team at Chaddesden Park Primary School, part of the successful Learners Trust Multi Academy Trust. We are seeking to appoint a full-time teacher with a TLR focused on Teaching and Learning. The successful candidate will lead teaching and learning across the full primary range, with a particular focus on raising standards at Key Stage 2.

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in pupils’ learning, work and conduct.
  • Be responsible for further improving and enhancing the teaching and learning at Chaddesden Park Primary School, with a particular focus on raising standards in Key Stage 2.
  • Lead the CPP Coaching Model for professional development, treating pupils with dignity and building positive relationships based on mutual respect.
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider community in the best interests of pupils.
  • Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school, with a particular focus on developing outdoor learning.

This is a full-time teaching position with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility TLR for further improving Teaching and Learning across the primary phase. The post is offered on a fixed-term contract due to internal staffing changes, with the potential to lead to a permanent position at Chaddesden Park Primary School.

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
