We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Cleaner to join our bakery team for afternoon shifts. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation within the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, trays, utensils, and bakery equipment promptly and efficiently
- Keeping all kitchen and work surfaces clean and sanitised
- Sweeping and mopping floors, including back-of-house areas
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling in accordance with hygiene regulations
- Supporting bakers and kitchen staff with basic tasks when required
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are followed consistently
- Maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and notifying management when needed
