Role Description

This full‑time on‑site role as a Fire Alarm Service/Install Engineer is based in Basildon. The position involves the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in compliance with industry safety standards. The role includes diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring fire safety systems are appropriately maintained, and working collaboratively with clients and internal teams to ensure the effective operation of fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in fire prevention and fire safety procedures to minimize risks
• Knowledge of fire protection systems, including inspection, maintenance, and repair tasks
• Experience with fire suppression systems, ensuring proper installation and functionality
• Understanding of life safety protocols and compliance with industry standards
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently on‑site
• Relevant certifications in fire safety or fire protection are a plus
• Effective communication and customer service skills to work with clients and team members
