The Design lead is responsible for managing our design deliverables, with a focus on quality, buildability and cost, to ensure the optimum solution is arrived at. They provide leadership to the design team, junior team members and work closely with, or at times act as, the design manager on projects. Through their exceptional understanding of architecture they will develop designs and documentation that meet client brief, consider buildability, and are coordinated with input from all disciplines.
The In-House Design Lead will hold an Architectural Registration. As a pivotal member of the Pre-Construction team, the In-House Design Lead must lead by example and positively contribute to the team, championing the Company’s ‘Inside the Box’ culture, providing day-to-day guidance and mentoring of team members, whilst directly and indirectly contributing to day-to-day delivery, competitive strategy and net margin target achievement.
