Are you an engineering professional with a passion for renewables and a drive to shape the future of clean energy? We’re expanding our team and looking for a Windfarm Operations Manager to support the performance, safety, and optimisation of our wind assets across Ireland and the UK.

What You Will Do

  • Operational Performance
    • Monitor windfarm performance, production, alarms, and failures.
    • Optimise asset performance and implement technical improvements.
    • Support turbine inspections and site assessments, including work at height.
  • Contract & Commercial Management
    • Ensure contractors meet all O&M contractual obligations.
    • Manage contract compliance, initiate claims, and issue formal letters where required.
    • Oversee contract negotiations, tender processes, and subcontractor performance.
    • Escalate commercial or legal risks and support senior management in resolving issues.
    • Procure and manage external legal representatives when needed.
  • Health, Safety & Environment
    • Maintain company safety standards and compliance across all sites.
    • Conduct HSE inspections, risk assessments, and manage toolbox talks.
    • Ensure safe systems of work and oversee contractor safety performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build strong relationships with landowners, local communities, and authorities.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, managing meeting notes and follow‑up actions.
  • Technical & Reporting
    • Deliver monthly performance reports, availability updates, and outage assessments.
    • Support the operations team in day-to-day site and portfolio management.
    • Lead projects from initiation to completion as required.

What You Bring

  • Qualifications
    • Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification with relevant industry experience.
    • Qualified Engineer (or equivalent technical background) with the ability to understand and manage complex technical assets.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical/renewable engineering principles.
    • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with technical data and reporting tools.
    • Project management.
  • Interpersonal Skills
    • Highly motivated with a genuine interest in the renewable energy sector.
    • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
    • Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
