🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on, site-based role where no two days are the same. You’ll join our expert team to:
- Supervise and support intrusive investigations (e.g., drilling, sampling, in-situ testing)
- Log soils and rocks to BS standards
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Keep detailed site records, complete RAMS, and manage H&S documentation
- Begin developing report writing and data interpretation skills
- Take ownership of site activities, with strong support from experienced mentors
🙋 ♂️ Who We’re Looking For
An enthusiastic, early-career engineer or geologist who:
- Has 1–2 years of hands-on site investigation experience
- Holds a BSc (or MSc) in Geology, Geoscience, Engineering, or similar
- Thrives working outdoors, independently and in teams
- Wants to grow their technical and reporting skills toward Chartership
- Has a full UK driving licence and is happy to travel/stay away as needed
Bonus if you have:
âś” CSCS Card, First Aid, EURS CAT 1 & 2, SSSTS or IOSH
âś” Awareness of environmental legislation or industry H&S best practices
