Duties and Responsibilities

You’ll lead the front-end development lifecycle — from architecture to delivery.

• Collaborate with designers, back-end engineers, and product owners to create seamless user experiences.
• Use your technical expertise to guide teams, spot risks early, and set standards that define the future of CGI’s digital platforms.
• Lead & Innovate: Deliver scalable front-end solutions using React, Next.js & TypeScript.
• Collaborate & Deliver: Work with UX, back-end and product teams to build exceptional apps.
• Support & Guide: Help BAs & POs with technical analysis and solution design.
• Optimise & Automate: Use Playwright, Storybook, Docker & GitLab to streamline delivery.
• Shape the Future: Drive technical direction and architectural standards.

Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role

You bring strong technical leadership, a passion for clean, scalable code, and the ability to inspire collaboration.

• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Frontend Developer
• Expertise in TypeScript, React, Next.js
• Knowledge of Playwright, Storybook, TailwindCSS, Docker, GitLab, React Query
• Experience with NextAuth (AuthJS) for authentication
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Understanding of financial or trading systems (nice to have)
