Social Value Engagement Manager <br><br>Position Description<br> We are looking for a Social Value Engagement Manager to help us deliver a major project over the next four years and beyond, based in Belfast. We'll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.<br>This is a part-time role, 18.75 hours per week, co-located in the CGI Belfast office and client site, with travel as required across Northern Ireland.<br><br>Your future duties and responsibilities<br> This is a new programme and you will deliver a variety of opportunities that will add value to the local community in Northern Ireland. Your role will focus on skills development, mentoring and education to support people in the local community, including vulnerable adults leaving prison and those on probation in the community, as well as young people and children. Working with the Social Value Engagement Officer, you'll manage and lead activities hosted by CGI and our Partner organisations.<br>Key Tasks:<br>Work with CGI and Partner organisations, to raise awareness of the Social Impact commitments, supporting the reporting and data analysis requirements and showcasing tangible localised impact through a social value lens.<br>oProvide and co-ordinate a range of skills development workshops and activities to support individuals and groups including:<br>oFacilitate the opportunity for CGI employees to volunteer for local social value initiatives.<br>oHelp share the types of jobs and expertise that CGI offer with stakeholders and the skills / qualifications CGI would look for as an employer of over 90,000 staff globally.<br>oSet up, facilitate and enable the delivery of skills and IT workshops<br>oProvide skills development and mentoring, including creating events that promote the sharing of motivational careers advice and skills/employability mentoring.<br><br>Required qualifications to be successful in this role<br> This role is a social value role and the preference is to recruit someone who ideally, but not exclusively, fits one of the following backgrounds/criteria;<br>• A person who is in education or has left education in the last 12 months and is seeking employment<br>• A person who is long-term unemployed<br>• A person who has a disability and is currently seeking employment<br>• Be located in a deprived area and currently seeking employment<br>• A person who is from an underrepresented group<br>In addition, we would like you to be able to demonstrate the following;<br>• Good planning skills, with excellent attention to detail and high standards<br>• Confident in the use of Microsoft 365<br>• Flexible approach and able to manage varying workload<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills<br>• Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with team members and professionals<br>• Commitment and ability to uphold confidentiality<br>• Understanding and empathetic towards supporting people who have been convicted of crime / impacted as a victim of crime and/or have lived with trauma.<br>Qualifications<br>In line with the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) for England and Northern Ireland, one or more of the following Level 2 qualifications are required for the role:<br>• GCSEs at grades A-C* (or grades 4-9 in England)<br>• Intermediate apprenticeships<br>• Level 2 awards, diplomas, and certificates<br>• OCR Nationals<br>• NVQs (Level 2)<br>• Essential Skills qualifications<br>• O Levels at grades A-C<br>Additional Requirements<br>Successful candidates will be required to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks and secure Access NI Enhanced Clearance as part of the onboarding process.
