As a Senior Java Developer at CGI, you’ll design and deliver robust, high-performing software solutions that help clients solve complex business challenges. You’ll play a leading role in building scalable, enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot, shaping technology outcomes that drive lasting impact. Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deliver scalable Java applications that meet diverse client needs.
- Lead by example in applying engineering best practices, contribute to Agile ceremonies, and ensure software quality through testing and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated solutions that deliver measurable business value while supporting and coaching junior developers to enhance capability across the team.

Essential qualifications:
- Proven experience in Java development (Java 8 or higher).
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
- Experience with Agile methodologies using Jira, Confluence, and Git.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and testing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
Desirable qualifications:
- Experience in IT consulting or client-facing roles.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
